What is Nitronic 50? Nitronic 50 is a higher-performance austenitic stainless steel. As its name suggests, Nitronic 50 is a member of the Nitronic family – meaning that nitrogen has been used to strengthen the alloy. Nitronic provides approximately twice the yield strength of regular 3xx series stainless steels and improved corrosion performance.
